Tipping Policy With Affordable Kilimanjaro Company
Recommended Tipping On Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition:
>>Lead Guide: $20-25 per day
>>Assistant Guide: $15-20 per day
>>Chef/Cook: $12-15 per day
>>Porters: $10-12 per day per porter
For example, if four travelers are on the mountain, each person could contribute $5.00 per day to make a one day tip of 20$ for the assistant guide.
Cash condition: Bring clean, undamaged US dollar bills printed after 2009, or its equivalent in either in EUROS, OR STERLING POUNDS. Avoid coins since they cannot be exchanged locally.
The tipping ceremony: Tips are normally handed over collectively during a celebration on the final day at the last camp or at the park gate.

Safari Guide:
$20–$30 per day per group.
Safari Cook:
$20–$30 per day per group (if on a camping safari trip)
